Coworker lent me all 15 volumes of this to read this weekend. Interesting stuff, and not at all my usual purview. I'm tempted to see how the movie adaptation was done, but, being me, knowing that there's less prurient content is kind of a bummer (shocking nobody, even though she was fucking psycho, one of the antagonists was portrayed as being rather hot). Returning him the favor, I'll be loaning him my copy of The Bachman Books, with the recommendation that he skip over Roadwork. I'm re-reading the other three, because I have continued to forget to get my ass to B&N to pick up Steve Brust's Jhegalaa and Gardner Dozois' latest installment of The Year's Best Science Fiction.
