Somebody's got a case of the Mondays
Yes, I reckon you'd get your ass kicked for sayin' somethin' like that.
By my count, it wasn't quite a case, but it was definitely more than three six-packs back to back.
Arbitrary comparison between a sample week in March and last week's post-rollout flood of calls at the office reveals what my ass and stress levels already knew - what's normally about forty calls a week turned into more than a hundred. My ass hit the chair only long enough to check email, post an abridged litany of impending doom, and grab the next pile of crises on Friday.
Talk about a much-needed weekend, other than only getting about nine hours' sleep since Saturday morning (including a nap yesterday afternoon).
