A gentle folding
That small squeal you might have heard yesterday was my xms gift certificates being put to the task they were created to do, along with a few ounces of fless being torn from my credit card's balance [happiness is long-awaited rebates going towards the bottom line].
Acquired: One utterly frivolous amusement - a steering wheel and footpedal combo controller for the xbox, courtesy of Best Buy. with warranty. total out-of-pocket expense: $.02.
Acquired: "The Year's Best SF" - [Vol. 2-7], "Stranger in a Strange Land," "Revelations" [end-of-millenium compilation], "Scared Stiff" [horror erotica], and a Roald Dahl compendium, courtesy of BN. total outlay: something just under $56.
I now have many, many books to chew on, hopefully to re-start what passes for my own writing.
Still no word from M$. Looking forward to Orlando this weekend, with Sil, Margaret, Axis, et al.
