Dead for the Day
So, no kids came by last night. That's probably just as well - after the week/month/year I've had, I probably would have tried to throw them for distance if they hadn't shown up wearing costumes, anyways.
Had an hour-plus of relative strangers chilling on the porch anyways - couple of K's coworkers came over before disembarking to a party, and one of them was running an hour late. Shortly after they left, I went to bed.
... and promptly spent 16 of the next 19 hours there, more or less dead.
