Okay, that actually hurt a little, heh. But not as much as seeing that movie will hurt. Oh, yes. I'm clearly a mashochist. I just added it to my Blockbuster queue, heh. #365 in the list as it turns out. So not only will I be tortured, but when it happens, I'll be lucky if I even remember why the fuck I even put it in the queue to begin with. Hell, I might even see Tim Curry's name in the opening credits and think "cool! that's why!" only to have that video portion of the thing splashed in my face like a cool spritz of battery acid. I might remember to hate you for it later, but I doubt it ;)

oh gawdamighty. at least now, thanks to rat_bastard, i know one good reason why this sucks...i'm not a 10 year old girl in the 80's heh. sure, there's absolutely *no* defending this production on any serious grounds, and it clearly wants for pretty much everything (well, except for casting where TC is concerned), but without the budget of oh, Dark Crystal or Labyrinth, at least now i feel he's been redeemed somewhat. the original screed was horribly unfair. sure, the editing and effects were godawful. who were they supposed to impress? adult shitheads 20 years in the future? awful or not, though, the effects were no worse than the writing...to me, that's the more tragic thing by far.
