Is anyone happy anymore? (Okay, netgoth, you and krew aside. . . . ;-)

I look around lately and am left to wonder, "Jeezus, almost everyone I know is unhappy/dissatisfied/other-form-of "Double Plus Un-Good" these days.

Is it an early onset of seasonal affective disorder? Is everybody jonesing for Halloween? Are we all waiting for a visit from the mystery sniper (of Marx Brothers, not Smith & Wesson)?

I think the whole fucking world needs a mug of hot cocoa and a nap. Followed by about four hours of vigorous copulation with everyone's partner of choice.

If that doesn't help, I'm fresh out of ideas.

yay for happiness! actually, quite of few of my friends who were suffering shit-on-a-stick lately are looking up, despite little things like job loss and house fires and such... "it all comes around" or somesuch metaphyscial shite... ;}

Sorry pal, I am in fact happy.

Don't get me wrong, I am stressed about the wedding, having job tension, having money problems, having dental problems, having cat problems, and having minor health issues, but generally speaking, I'm pretty happy right now.

I'm looking forward to a vacation, I'm looking forward to life as a married woman, my boss sincerely values me and shows her love with praise and cash, my family has calmed down a lot lately, my favorite fucking band in the world just got back together, I have great friends, a place to live, food in the pantry and a shitload of NyQuil to take the edge off.

I'd say, barring minor annoyances, I'm generally happy at present.
