Question for the other felis felis companions in the audience:

One of our fuzzballs decided to relieve themselves (we think it was Loki) on their favorite curl-up-and-nap spot (a beanbag chair in the livingroom) overnight. How likely is it that this was a subtle hint to scoop their litterbox (which, while not full, was decidedly ammoniac in ambience)? If not, what else could it be indicative of?

"Dammit, Mommy & Daddy, I don't like peeing where it's stinky!"

Suffice it to say, they've lost their beanbag (to the trash). Scolding seemed pointless, as it wasn't something that just happened. Guess it's a matter of keeping a better nose to the litterbox and watching for other unusual behaviors. . . *sigh*

Could be that, or it could mean that Kitty be illin'. Particularly if said deposit was left where they tend to sleep. If it happens again you might want to get them, him, her, it, or zie checked out by a vet.
