I don't understand Orlando Bloom's mentality. If you were a male actor who was famous for playng the gayest gay elf ever to nance down the pike, you might want to avoid being typecast, right? So your next major role should perhaps be something other than the gayest gay PIRATE ever to nance down the plank... but even making that mistake, he could have redeemed himself... but instead he's playing a Greek in a short skirt. Go figure.

The trailer for Van Hellsing was excellent. I only hope it live sup to the promise - as Underworld surely did not.

Hellboy did rock. Albeit I'm not sure it's a movie that could be watched more than a few times. Just not enough depth.

A friend saw Hidalgo this weekend and confirmed my worst fears. It supposedly is indeed Indian Jones meets The Mummy.

I lost interest in "Hidalgo" when I found out it was the name of the horse. That didn't discourage my nephew--he loved it. Of course, he's a child.
