digitaldisciplineSeems that the ailings on K's rig are the fault of the impending doom of her boot drive. Since the secondary HDD is also semi-elderly, I'd rather just stuff a single drive in there and be done with it.
So: ~60GB, relatively inexpensive, and quiet are what i'm looking for. I'd normally just jump right to one of the WDD 80GB 8MB "SE" drives, but they're a little noisier than what her near-silent system warrants [I've got a pair in my box, and their whine is the main note it emits]. Recommendations for a good 5400rpm unit?
