digitaldiscipline1) I am the annoyed owner of an unspecified lower abdominal twinge. This is me hoping it's a pulled muscle, not something that Weird Al sang about when he parodied James Brown in the late 80's.
2) Mortgage broker had my new employer wrong. I really hope that doesn't fuck up my mortgage processing. (also, Bank One are a bunch of fucks who insist that a) a pair of bank drafts took TWELVE DAYS to clear, and b) that i have to do an in-person visit to send myself a wire transfer. Um, hello, fuckholes, i'm 500 miles from the nearest branch, why do you think i want to do a wire transfer i'd need to pay you charlatans $30 for the priviledge of processing?).
3) henceforth, #((8)) is the office shorthand for bitchslapping the stress monkey on sil & my team. it stands for "pound shaky," which is the nickname that's stuck to him. he causes much with the stabby thoughtses, he does.
4) apparently, the work to be done to the house is complete. i need to talk to the contractor to see what he did to get my water pressure up, but the roof, insulation, chimney, wiring, and low spot issues were all addressed by yesterday. still planning on a sledgehammer party.
5) I have an office phone, finally. and a land line for the new house. hopefully, i'll have a house to make use of it with.
