"Me."

That's what LJ turns into, and why resisting contributing my own noise was so adamant a goal.

Rather than get all New-Age wishy-swishy BS on y'all, just stop to think:

Is it work to say a kind word to a friend? Is there something rewarding in a gesture of kindness or affection? Doesn't it just fucking feel GOOD to do nice by one of the good people?

I've been as guilty as everyone else, getting self-absorbed and spinning off hostile eddies where none were warranted. That's got to stop - nobody likes a perpetual dick.

Half-Assed Resolution #1: "Only spit on the deserving."
