Cheap to a Good Home

Since K got an upgrade [mmmmm. .. athlon], the guts of her rig are currently in repose.

- Pentium 3 1.0GHz chip, which will run at 1.2GHz [this is the socket 370 variety, not Slot 1]
- 512MB of RAM
- an Abit VH6-T motherboard [onboard sound, 4 usb ports]

I've also got a Creative 12x DVD drive and the attendant controller - the downside is that I can't use it, because it's not WinXP compatible. D'oh.
