Rafe's First Rule of Counterintuitive Parenting

"Soap is not preventative maintenance."

Kids get dirty - when they do, wash 'em. But keeping 'em sterile probably undermines their ability to deal with the inevitable.

This rule brought to you by a 6am shower.
