Day got off to a nigh-fired state, as Very Important Thing set off my on-call pager around 6am. D'oh.
Following that was a reminder that, hey, I'm forfeiting $60 in on-call time because of travel this weekend, un-yay.
At least I'm not subjected to Coworker M's radio, which is apparently driving Coworker N to the edge of madness.
Coworker N: yep....they just played paul macartney's wonderful christmas time or whatever for the tenth time

Coworker N: i'm down with teh hate
etcet: that's worse than waking up with "we didn't start the fire" in my head every day for the last two weeks.
etcet: simply having a wonderfu-- BANG, BANG, CHAINSAW, GURGLE
I might have had more to say, but between the two juggernauts of adult contemporary, i need to go scour my fucking mind with some brussels sprouts or something.
