One or two slices of cheese in an evening.
Night before last was fifty-odd vignettes, like a bunch of movie trailers, some of them of a recurring type where I'm writing/revising the scene being played out, and can actually see the pages of the book translucently overlaid on the action.

matociquala, who was using slices of pizza as a metaphor for completing related but compartmentalized life tasks, or something. It looked like really good pizza, and she was eating it New York style - fold it in half length-wise to keep the toppings from falling off, because the thin crust was not very structurally sound.
