So, yesterday was a long goddamned holler from the best day ever.
Failed to set a PR, or even make the top lift of my workout. While this, in and of itself, is not the end of the world... I'd really wanted to, so it's disappointing. Not the day I wanted to have an off day in the gym.
Afterward, typing up my notes, my PC crashed. And then entered an infinite boot loop for the windows recovery console. Current working theories are a beginning-to-fail hard drive that's a member of my RAID array, or some kind of transient fuckery with the new SSD that's supposed to be providing caching service. cassandrasimplx) resulted in a new Win7 install and an unreadable RAID array. Said fuck it, finished installing mobo drivers and utilities and a hundred and goddamned two Windows updates, and went to bed.
Booted up this morning, failed to boot from the recovery CD I'd burned... and windows saw the fucking array. Backing up the archives, user profile info, and applications directories to a spare, small hard drive now, and going to figure out the way forward when I get home (probably going to break the raid and pull the ailing drive and reinstall the OS again to a clean partition).
