first up is [livejournal.com profile] chernobylred:
- an item of interest to several of you tricksy people.
- a clever James Bond .gif (You know what struck me most about that gif? The fact that Roger Moore is the only one who doesn't fire (and he's alone in taking a two-handed grip on the gun). He also, to my untrained eye, is in the best shooting position. If I had to guess, I'd peg him as the actual shootist of the bunch.)

next, we have [livejournal.com profile] ruefullyamused on the bookface:
- noam chomsky criticizing the attacks on Gaza

and, as a palate-cleanser after that, [livejournal.com profile] cassandrasimplx discovered a gold mine of mashup brilliance, with my favorite being this fantastic conversational take on the temptations and cee lo green.

Been dreaming vividly this week, though not always enjoyably - some stressy ones, some puzzling ones, a few boring ones, and a particularly detailed NES-like rendition of the surfing bit from California Games crossed with manga sensibilities, where a friend showed me an easter egg where you could turn the surfboard into wings, fly over some stuff, bonk Poseidon on the head, and then get fawned over by a quartet of nude naiads made of the finest 16-bit seawater.

The night of boring dreams, however, had a fantastic soundtrack: The Piano Guys' re-orchestration of Bach's Cello Suite #1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry4BzonlVlw&feature=share&list=PL01007CFE050060DE )
