protein bread stockpile has been replenished, rather than the bagels this time. moister and softer than the bagels, still tasty. as i haven't reloaded on peanut butter, I drizzle a little bit of honey on a slice and fold it in half for a snack.
HOLY SHIT THE PLASTER WORK MAY FINALLY BE DONE. relatedly, I dreamed last night that I came home to find half the floor had been laid, and was suitably chuffed... and then irritated because i knew i was dreaming. i'm hoping that, at least, was one of my prosaic doses of pre-emptive deja vu.
realized i had an extra day off coming up, which is nice, and that unused sick time in excess of something like 300 or 325 hours is paid out at half the hourly rate, which will help pay down some of these home improvement costs (still need to buy a sink/vanity/commode and some more tile, but that shit can wait until they're actually ready to put them in... which i doubt will be before the end of the year at this rate).
looking forward to seeing friends over the holidays. no sign of cancer the kitten since thanksgiving, and i haven't yet been able to get more than a finger on either equinox or capricon while they take advantage of the entirely too abundant gardening stuff around my porch.
