The Trap is Sprung (and kitten pictures)

Returned home this evening to find a note from my neighbor.

Long story short, he'd placed the trap to try and capture a nuisance Raccoon that has been ransacking his water plants and their associated fish (his backyard garden is pretty goddamned impressive, in that there are two dozen pots/buckets of a bushel or more in size with all kinds of stuff growing in them) and Magellan was, essentially, bycatch. *laugh*

All is well, and we're presenting a united front against pests and in favor of cats.

Speaking of, a small length of weatherstripping peeled off my door frame, and became an impromptu kitten toy, with which I attempted to coax Rorschach, Bond, Kirk, and Kodiak to play... Kirk pounced it a couple times initially, then R took over, and I could almost, but not quite, get him to attack it to the small pile of kitten chow I'd laid out a foot or so from my feet and the laptop.


"Okay, fine, I'll pounce it."


"... the fuck you want, Human?"


"Perhaps I shall toy with it if I must."


"Fucker, gimme!"
