digitaldisciplineNo, it wasn't sunburn. My fine middle-eastern heritage pretty much forestalls that unless I spend all day topless in the tropics. Which, really, I was doing anyways, but it wasn't sunburn.
Friday night, I just took a bad step on a freshly-washed wood deck, got about three feet of air, and came down flat on my back right around my left kidney. Still sore, but a good night's sleep in our own bed and a quartet of naproxen sodium tablets later, and i'm more or less up and around, albeit a little gingerly.
A full cruise summary will probably be forthcoming later. It was a damn good time connecting with old friends and making some new ones, and that's really the gist of it. The particulars are just incidental side-effects.
