digitaldisciplineThe weekend got off to an interesting start - Florida Blood Services called me because I may be a match for an 8 year old boy in need of bone marrow, and, pending additional testing, I may donate marrow or stem cells. That's kind of cool. I wonder if you get to meet the recipient and/or their family?

mpeace, tylorael, and stompymink can attest, the closet door in my office/our guest bedroom was in rough shape. No longer! Yesterday saw me replace it, and in the process of doing that and smoothing the operation of the dead bolt on the front door, I got to use every power tool in my arsenal except the angle grinder (drill, circular saw, dremel). Need to paint or stain it, but at least there aren't louvers coming off at random intervals. Also, to stem the hemmoraging thermodynamics of my abode, I ordered two dozen sheets of 2" styrofoam insulation to slice into 16" witdths and wedge between the joists under my floor - next weekend, I'm going to be a tyvek-wearing, under-house-scooting fool.

Ate way too much Indian food with GMBAS and the impending Gothopia Orlando Outpost crew on Friday, and then ate way too much Mexican last night fortheonebob's belated birthday shindig.
Inadvertently got busted on Friday, so K got her trinket (a silver ring with a moon/sun motif) sooner, rather than later. D'oh. At least she really likes it. *facepalm*
