If the home scale is to be believed, I'm also down nine pounds from Thursday.  I think that, if we make it to the gym tomorrow, I'll see how that correlates (weigh at home, drive to gym, weigh at gym).

I know I sweat a lot, but. . . that's like five quarts.  Um, no.  Feeling buff, however.  And I even got some sun.

Heh, more like just over four quart (8.6 lbs to the gallon IIRC).

But yeah, that's not uncommon....the scale at the YMCA back home used to say that I'd lose between 5 and 15 lbs from swimming (wonder how much of that I put into the pool...).

the rule of thumb is "a pint's a pound the world around." perhaps sweat weighs more than plain water.

I stand corrected: 1 Gallons [US] = 8.3452641 Pounds.

But 5 quarts still isn't 9 lbs. =8-)

And yes, sweat would weigh more depending on concentration.
