Memorial Day wknd is the local scifi convention, which I've been going to for 20 years. I'm on panels, judging or in the masquerade, & all my geek friends go, so it's an annual rite. Also, I get in free, & it's 5 miles from my house, so cheap! Don't think I can pay for airfare to Florida twice in one year, nor take the extra time off from work.

But all the teacher folks & students will be thrilled w/a Memorial Day wknd. C12. Plus, it's not the same wknd as Whitby.

It's better for you that I'll be at GC3, as I wouldn't wear a bikini to a Convergence ;-)
