Leaving this afternoon for Buffalo, for my neice's "christening."

Not particularly enthusiastic about it, as I'd rather spend the weekend doing something -I- want, but it's a one-time deal. Maybe we can catch up with [livejournal.com profile] yokes1971 for beers at some point.

So, yeah. Gonna be relatively offline for a few.

Meh.

So CLose, yet so far. It's funny that something in the state I am in is so much further than, say something three states away... Like Boston. Meh.

Have fun in upstate New York! :-)

Have a good time and I hope it's much cooler up there than it is down here!

And upon further review, courtesy of Weather Underground, it's looking like highs around 80, with lows in the 60's, which sounds pretty damn pleasant.

You wanna go instead? I'm sure K would enjoy the company and conversation during the flight, though bedding accommodations might be a little tricky.... ;-)

I would hop a plane in a heartbeat just go get out of here. Although I don't believe the airlines could be convinced I was you.

It could be interesting trying to convince them though....

Ah the days when you could get away with flying as someone else. I once flew the return on my mom's plane ticket. She drove my car cross country and I flew so that I could start working.

Have a safe trip!

(You're not from there, are you?)

HA! I am too. :)

What part? What school? Did/Do I know you?

And the most important question of all: Do you know my building (http://pics.livejournal.com/prynne/gallery/00012htr)?

Gotta love the Central Terminal.

The Clocks are lit up again always nice to see.

Oh, just INCREDIBLE.

I was there a few weeks ago when they were having an art exhibit. It was the first time I had ever (legally) been inside.

There is nothing, nothing in the world that compares to the way I feel when I'm standing in the center of that main hall, looking up at that gorgeous, high high ceiling. I am passionate about my love for that building.

Friends who still live in the area tell me that it has recently become almost trendy to worship Central Terminal.

Typical. I am so far ahead of my time I can see my own ass in front of me.
