Big news today is K's 10am interview at the Florida Aquarium to be an animal keeper. This would rock much and lots. Well-wishes and that sort of good thing directed her way are definitely the order of the day.

In less thrilling news, we're having the exterior of GMBAN painted professionally (dark blue body, light grey trim, violet accents - that peach/salmon/whatever is Marked For Death). Good weather for it, frankly, and I'd rather part with a month's post-tax salary than do it less well myself. They pressure-washed it yesterday, so things are underway.

The inaugural hooray_death run is tonight. Hooray, Death! Note to self: buy beer.

Protech Coatings. They were the middle of three estimates I got, and they gave me the best vibe as far as workmanship and professionalism.

The guy who came in lowest, however, does general contracting, too, and I'd be happy to give you his info for any GMBAS projects. He quoted me $4500 to do a complete bathroom overhaul, and was appalled at the tales of asshattery on the part of PtWC I shared on your behalf.

The only thing I'd caution against is... well, #1 - we don't know them IRL, breaks the vibe. #2 - if Zul'jin is their main server, we're not going to be around enough with our every-other-week plan to level our toons to make it viable for them. They'll be ahead of us in no time, and upset that we're not around. Potential for /dramaquit.

And I so don't need any more drama in WoW. :P

Then again, there are a couple folks here I don't know well (Elly comes by way of folks I do know well, pete & geekers, for example), and DSM is a game acquaintence on Lothar.
