"Cartoon Rioters Hit Afghan NATO Base"

Okay, I admit it, that conjures images of cartoons attacking blankets. The fact that one of the signs held up in the video clip reads, "Europe you will pay, the Fantastic 4 are on their way." Jessica Alba was reportedly still both invisible and reeling with guilt and shame from the 2005 feature and was not available for comment.
However, it's more coverage of people looking for an excuse to be violent, egregious asshats [http://www.neandernews.com/?p=54%20.]. These cartoons were published in September, with almost no notoriety whatsoever. It wasn't until muslim religious leaders began beating their chests months later to drum up indignation that anything happened, and, frankly, I think that the newspapers that reprinted the drawings (which I've subsequently looked at) in the spirit of free speech were completely justified in doing so.
Kowtowing to a loud-mouthed bully doesn't teach him anything, except that "bullying works."
[I am well aware that GWB is also solidly in the "bully" camp.]
