Okay... we've had unwanted pregnancies, marital strife, deaths in the family, friends' illnesses, and all manner of business bullshit this month, which is really just unnecessarily piling it on.

And that's just in my corner of the world, without taking into acount the global-scale asshattery.

In the face of this, there has been the good of new jobs, relationship goodnesses, and home-buying mojo.

Sometimes it's hard to see anything positive in the face of the shitstorm of negativity.

This could be anyone. This could be you.

It appears that February is a month without moderation. Only the extreme good or extreme bad occur. But as always, the extremes cancel out to bring balance to the Force.

$534 to fix that guy's mirror.

That's reflooring our kitchen.

Or most of a flight to London.

F*CK this month.

Somehow, I feel better to know that I'm not the only one who typically has really crap Febs. I'm hoping to lay low and not get hit with the shitstick this year.

Given my historical track record of majorly sucky things happening in February, I say this, at least it's a short month.

Then again, I officially get old in March, so, I can't win anyway.

Let's just hope 31 doesn't suck quite as much as 30 has, shall we?

... or half what it'll cost to get my cavities fixed and my other back teeth sealed.

five hundred and thirty four bucks for a side mirror? wtf?

the midwinter blahs, on top of discrete events, are a real bite in the butt.

there's no reason for a twenty year old car to have a mirror that expensive. that's just. . . ghaaa.

At least all the negativity hasn't affected your taste in music. ;) The vocal arrangement of this is to die for!

Last year or maybe the year before, my motto was February Is a Monster. I wonder if this is influenced by the fact that I & most of my maternal family was born in February. Hmm.

Holy shit!! I'd ask for another estimate. $530 is F'n crap. That part can be taken from a junkyard for $20

Wow, three messages in a row on my friends list of people having issues with February. *hug* Sorry this month is sucking.

Yes, february sucks. But this is going to be a good year. It is. I swore that on NYE, and, dammnit, I meant it this time.
