Or, if you live in Beverly Hills, make that forty cents.
I'm doing a pure shill here, because none of us are in a position to waste money on stupid shit when we don't have to, when there are so many better things to waste money on when we're not wasting it on stupid shit.
Get a K&N air filter.
Seriously. I've kept a freaking spreadsheet of every cent I've put into Zim since I bought it three years ago, and in the year and a half since I got one, my MPG has gone up 10% (from 27 to nearly 30).
Since I average almost 50 miles a day on my new commute, this is decidedly non-trivial. Doesn't make me any happier about the inflated fuel prices, but it takes a touch of the sting out.
Need to get one for K's car soon (they didn't have the 33-2293 in stock when she first got it). Plus, her commute's about to go from 10 miles in heavy traffic to a mile and a half in almost no traffic at all, all of which is happy-making, even without the niftiness that is going back into her field of choice. :-)
