digitaldiscipline: (f*ck [by fireba11])
Blew off a birthday thing w. coworkers on friday due to a combination of senility and disinterest.  I was nagged about it this morning, but enough happened over the weekend that I don't feel particularly bad.  Walking in to discover that a coworker hasn't been doing at least one part of their job was the least of my problems.  At least I get to do some work offsite tomorrow and meet the folks at one of our branch locations.

From the time we woke up until the end of the Sabres' 3-2 victory over Carolina, Saturday kicked ass.  Then a stray dog showed up as we were getting ready to head to Moon Base Bravo, which proceeded to completely fucking nuke our weekend.

It's not the dog's fault that her owner either lost her or, worse, abandoned her.  However, I'm going to come right out and own up to resenting it for ruining my weekend, causing a near-fight between me and K, costing us money we frankly don't have to waste on frivolous shit, costing us both sleep, and wasting our time trying to find its fucking owner when we would have much preferred doing something enjoyable, or at least making headway on getting the house ready for guests.  If anyone wants the dog, take it.  We're calling animal control tomorrow.  [those fucks aren't even open on weekends, and if the dog has no ID, they're fucking useless.]

Also, a big fat FUCK YOU to the City of Tampa's solid waste collection department, whose slacktastick motherfucker tuckbitches can't be bothered to do their goddamned jobs and pick up anything that isn't in the automated blue collection receptacles.  I've sent a complaint to their department, because those heretofore-referenced neo-monbacks drove right the fuck off after picking up 1 of 4 cans, and 0 of 20 trash bags this morning, even while I flashed my porch light at them in the near-dark of 6:15am.
