if he's so concerned about the child's health WHY would he deny medical assistance to the mother? does this make sense in ANYONE'S universe?! there is some very basic Biology 101 being overlooked here. if the child dies and the doctors say it could have been avoided with adequate medical care, what's Jeb going to do then? if child and mother both live he will gloat i'm sure, but has he given any thought to who will raise the child? because it sounds like the mother isn't capable, so the child will probably be turned over to the state and there is a high likelihood that the child will have some of the same health and developmental issues that the mother suffers from. i just feel horrible for this poor woman, who probably doesn't understand anythign that's happening. :{
