Okay, Universe, I get the fucking point... I'm never supposed to have any goddamned money.

Even with the savings I scored on the tires themselves, it's still $300+ I didn't want to have to shell out at the moment; other expenses may also be rearing up to bite us in the ass.

At this point, GCIV is the thing with its neck on the chopping block first, unfortunately. Everything else is non-negotiable (taxes, bills, etc).

I need to go through my various crap and either pawn it or put it on craigslist or half.com or some fucking thing. *sigh*

Understood.

for as opposites as we sometimes are, sometimes I think we're twins.

Do I get to be yin or yang this time around?

What sucks is offering up your computer tech and finding out how much value it's dropped. You'd probably do best with the collectables market, assuming DragonCon didn't wipe people out. Good luck.

I know that feeling. Truly. A lot of years of subsistance living at the poverty level gave me a lot of thoughts like that as well.

You're both in my thoughts daily.

Amen, amen.

Meh.

Hope yours gets better.

There's minimal computer crap to pawn, honestly - a pretty nice 19" CRT, most of the guts from an Athlon 2500+ system, and a functional P3 866 rig... I was leaning more towards things your average person on the street would be interested in (stereo equipment, maybe some books, 90 issues of Maxim).

That's the "bane" of not collecting shit; when it comes time to de-kipple The Life, about all I have to discard are a lot of t-shirts I don't wear often and maybe some pants I may or may not shrink myself back into fitting. There aren't any comic books, figurines, perfumes, trinkets, doo-dads, or similar folderol to rid myself of.

Well, I've started wallpapering craigslist with the shit I can ballpark right off the top of my head, so we'll see.

I suspect, however, that those thoughts aren't of the prosaic financial variety. ;-)

The husband is out at an interview right now, so here's hoping. :/

Light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train, right. Got it.

Blargh.

I've resorted to selling my husband's ass for extra money at this point.

(web design, not prostitution). I'll probably be doing the prostitution myself.

It's a (non-paying) gift. heh.

Besides, Rick would look like ass in fishnets.
