Took a nap for lunch. Five minutes before my hour was up, my dream was interrupted by an on-screen popup of precisely the same type that my digital cable uses when I've set a reminder timer to switch to another program.

Unfortunately, without the remote, I couldn't press Select to continue drowsing.

I have a low-tech version of similar dreams where I'm stranded where ever the dream ends and I spend the rest of the dream state walking back to my bed because I know that I have to get up in a couple of hours and go to work. . .

The low-tech variant for me is going to the bathroom in the context of the dream... i've learned that this is my body's way of giving me a hint. heh.
