And on that cynical note, I'm going to try and shut the bloody fuck up about politics. I'm sick of it, you're probably sick of it, and the last time I bitched about something so prodigiously, ineffectually, and pointlessly, it was a ten dollar an hour job.

I suspect that was easier to get the fuck out of than this country's government would be to overthrow, unfortunately.

As much as I talk about moving (as recently noted, Denmark), realistically, I have this nagging patriotism that makes me want my home country to be better. I want to do what I can & I want to be here when it happens. Currently, my feeble hopes are pinned on 2008.
