More later, but I just had a happy moment when my inbox revealed Christopher Moore's new book is coming out in January, revisiting the scene of one of my favorites of his (You Suck is the sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends).

Then again, asking me to pick a favorite Moore book is like asking me to pick a favorite thing among things of which I like many/all. I honestly can't say I didn't like any of his books, which even luminaries like Gibson, King, Heinlein, and Stephenson can't say from my bookshelves.

More later. I'm holding down the entire fort at the office by myself today.

Oh, it's wonderful stuff. "Lamb" got some chatter on MQ a few weeks back, as the best companion to the Bible, ever. ;-)

You can't really go wrong whether you want Jesus as a kid, a giant radioactive monster, a cargo cult, vampires, or zombies for christmas.
