Well, that was a nice surprise (even if the actual process itself was kind of stumbled over this morning)... seems that our yearly bonus was distributed this morning.
I'd love to say I'm doing something rakish, daring, or thoughtful with mine, but it's going toward such pedestrian pursuits as paying down a credit card balance.
Fiscal responsibility is not exciting, but it's gotta be done. Maybe I'll splurge and have sushi for lunch today to celebrate, rather than my usual Subway.
Yesterday was very nice - hauled the herb garden out of the garage, where it had been sheltered from the evening chill the last two evenings, played some video games, chatted with some friends, hugged K a lot once she got home from work, and then spent several enjoyable and well-fed hours at Casa de

all i did was build the holding structure, i didn't participate in the green end of things.

i brought in marjoram, some rosemary, the sage [which is QUITE unhappy], melissa, cinnamon basil and the two surprises, mandrake and belladonna, which sprouted from seeds that i had planted and put aside when they didn't germinate.
'Course, everything had to make it through to May before they can go outside again. Two ladybugs came in, too, and are busy grooming the plants. i'm not sure what they're eating, but as long as they're useful...

if it were up to me, they'd have stayed outside. it'll make 'em tough and flavorful, dammit.
