I finished V for Vendetta last night. I didn't like it. I didn't get it. If it was trying to advocate anarchy, I've read far better treatises on the subject.
I don't think so much that it was advocating anarchy, but rather that people had become complacent with a corrupt government that was harming the people rather than helping them.
It wasn't a bad movie. But yeah, there are definitely better reads on the subject.
