wow.

uhmm... that's one sexy big, white, blank square.

I take it I'm supposed to be seeing something car-related in the aforementioned BWBS. Unless it's a supremely-impractical un-aerodynamic new offering from Volvo, I'm not seeing it.

Holy crap. I'm so stealing the link.

You can read more about the car at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugatti_Veyron

1001hp, 922 ft-lbs torque and 8.0L displacement (W-16 configuration), quad turbocharged (note, it's the successor to the EB110). 0-62mph in 2.5sec.

According to Jeremy Clarkson, the host of Top Gear, in a speed race, if the McLaren F1 were allowed to reach 120 mph before the Bugatti started, the Bugatti would still be the first to reach 200 mph. Now I'm a huge McLaren F1 fan, but that's simply amazing.

I hate the LJ embedded video, both because it still takes up as much real estate on my flist, and because it doesn't come with a nice link I can copy and share should I desire.

I'm rubbing myself.

I've done 135, in insane conditions. I cannot envision something with 1000 hp. Oh, my...

Not Volvo. Volkswagen.

Heh, I'd taken my pickup truck to 106 before the rev limiter kicks in.I've been in a car with etcet at 140 and we both have been with my dad *cruising* at 140.

People used to say that I drove fast and recklessly. Then I mention "my dad" and they quickly quiet down.

That... was fucking awesome. Alot of that had to do with the fact the director of this thing KNOWS how to cut, edit, and shoot very fast cars, apropriately timed spedometers, and post in good musical scores from Batman, Phantom Menace, and Bram Stoker's Dracula (of all things!).

AMAZING.

I hadn't recognized the TPM score (fortunately, most of that experience has been blocked from my mind). :-)

Holy...S&$^$*!

Wow. That was....surreal.

And whoever thought of putting it to "Duel of the Fates" is a genius.

Ooooh, snarky. I actually liked the prequel trilogy as a standalone set of movies. As Star Wars movies, they left alot to be desired (such as acting, better dialogue, etc), but they weren't bad on their own. And John Williams, no matter WHAT he does, is a living *DIETY* and needs to be worshipped, even if he were scoring Harold the Duck, I'd still listen ;D (I listened rather obsessively to duel of the fates on my mp3 player when I first got it)

Harold the Duck? Wasn't that the sequel to Howard the Duck?

The best thing about this car is the fact that unlike NASCAR, you do more than go fast and turn left. This goes right too (right to 11!).

Best Quote: No wonder Michael Schumacher retired, I'm faster than he is.
