No, I apparently showed him how to have a sense of humor, and, because I wasn't the brunt of the jokes, that was deemed unacceptable. These were the clever assholes who would line the pockets of my jacket with the magnetic security strips so that I'd trip the alarm when leaving for the day, and didn't understand why I didn't find that funny.

In what was to become the first in a long line of these situations, shortly after terminating my employment, the company went out of business.
