President Bush will have a routine colonoscopy Saturday and temporarily hand presidential powers to Vice President Dick Cheney.
Should be just a couple of hours. It happened before in 2002 for about 2 hours, for that matter. Cheney managed to not start any new wars in those 2 hours. Or did he? ;)
Then again...what *did* he do? We may never know. If he's not in the Executive Branch as VP, wtf is he when he's Emperor Pro Tem 5 years after his last stab at it?
And how convenient would it be for Bush to have a serious health issue laying him up for days, weeks, months?
Hoping for a huge nothinglike fizzle from this, but hey, it starts tomorrow. How interesting *will* the weekend be?
So, do you think that Bush is reining Cheney in on non colonoscopy days? I personally think Cheney's had his hand up Bushes ass the entire time, puppeting him through all that icky politics stuff so that Bush can be seen on camera playing "leader of the free world" like all people with the mental capacity and emotional state of a 5 year old would love to do.

As for reining him in, nahhhh, clearly not. Our best hope is that Cheney is so filled with evil glee for those couple of hours that he forgets to actually *do* anything evil.
