This year's annual invasion of friends, meat, and booze was smaller than in years past, but still a damn fine time. Thanks to everyone who came - bringing hooch, munchies, or merely good cheer - and to those of you who left more than you'd meant to[1]... well, I'll get it back to you somehow.

Good friends, good chow, and pretty good weather (

tirani wanted to hit the beach during her visit, so, in spite of some astonishingly bad traffic Sunday afternoon, we visited Fort DeSoto, site of The Waughs' Wedding, and I managed to get a sunburn).

Sunday night involved Warcraft Shenanigans, which was much fun.

Coming back to work has, as expected, sucked. Also, I forgot my glasses, and am being reminded that I'm getting to be a decrepit old fart by that fact. Bah.
