Tired of bats, bats, and more bats? Afraid of sharks? Join the Convergence XIV committee on a trek to Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo on Sunday afternoon. Recognized as one of the top zoos in the country, TLPZ features wildlife both familiar and exotic. Featured habitats include Asia, the Australian outback, Safari Africa and the Ituri Forest, free-flight aviaries, a raptor exhibit, a marine center, a in-depth look at the local Florida wildlife and more!
Join your your hosts Rafe and Kim on as they regale you with stories of the antics, personalities and behind-the-scenes interactions that working with the animals provides.
Being fed to the wildlife is not currently on the itinerary.
Ticket cost is $30, and includes transportation to and from and entrance to the museum.
More details about Convergence XIV events and tickets can be found on the official website at http://www.c14ybor.com
