In the recent past, I have:

- Alerted a friend to a potential compromise of their email account(s).

- Filed my taxes.

- Paid some bills.

- Gotten involved with another entertaining group exercise in questionable judgment with [livejournal.com profile] theonebob.

- Been mentoring the FNG on my team at work, on both job-related and fitness-related stuff.

- Really fucked up my back. My own damn fault, of course. The slight twinge from squatting on Sunday had abated, and Thursday is Deadlift Day. Since this is "heavy weight, one or more reps" week, I was working up to my max load in sets of two. Unfortunately, I made an overly-large and poorly-considered increment choice, moving from a pair of "yeah, that felt great/easy" to "OW, MOTHERFUCKER." *drops weight* I am ibuprofen's bitch today, and am a walking cloud of menthol aromatics. Hopefully, that won't completely fuck up my 5k run tomorrow. However, if I turn in a disappointing time (I'm shooting for sub-24:00, weather permitting), I won't have anyone but myself to blame.
