The important mess is this: http://etcet.livejournal.com/784312.html

Yeah, it's a repost, but given the reading habits of LJ, a Monday repost seems more than warranted.

I haven't completely processed the health care reform passage, but, narrowly, as I said to a friend who was offline, and inquired as to whether "Am I still allowed to have a uterus, or do the Republicans own it again?":

"You can have a uterus, but the Gov't won't help you pay to evict any unwanted tenants."

The weekend itself was a mixed bag, both in terms of weather and goodness. Saturday was gorgeous, so I did a spot of yardwork, and also indulged in a much-needed two-hour massage (which even the masseuse realized was insufficient to address all the various muscular crunchiness I tend to collec). However, it did a world of good, and I didn't subsequently hose it up by jumping back into the weight-lifting fray, instead choosing to do some light stretching and mobility work to keep things loose and aligned. Weights will resume today or tomorrow.

Sunday was a different story, kicking off with an unwell K, crappy weather, and just a general case of the blahs (despite a house full of folks, who were thwarted on their intent to go to the renn faire, so instead came over to hang out and chat and play rock band).
