as has been previously noted, it's raining.
granted, it's raining =harder= now than it was earlier, but it's not a particularly interesting precipitational phenomenon, other than it's supposed to last for the next day and a half.
but there are people all over the place in my apartment complex, standing on the balcony, on stairs, in the parking lot. . . . watching it rain.
and i'm watching them watch it rain, and occasionally watching it rain myself.
are we really this bored when we get a day off?
if people didn't know it was a hurricane, and was instead just another rainy day, i bet it wouldn't be nearly as interesting.

Weather.com says it's a tropical storm. Regardless, I hope you and your possessions remain unscathed. The flood here in NC last year was an absolute nightmare...
