I've been kind of faffing about doing this, but I figure that it's a decent Friday-ish thing to do, rather than every day for a month.

01 - your favorite song

I'm going to cheat here, because I don't have the ability to narrow things down to *a* favorite. I will, however, go with "my favorite song that almost nobody else has ever heard."

Front Line Assembly: "Iceolate"

Yep, this song is apparently so obscure, it doesn't even have a YouTube video. Sheesh.

It's got a little bit of everything I look for in a song to dance or workout to - catchy riffs, driving oontz, crunchy and clanky bits, and dystopianism.

I remember the video for Iceolate. Saw it for the first time back in high school and it immediately made me consider using a raw boxspring (just the metal bits) instead of a futon. I was a bit odder than most though ;)

This is my unsurprised face, at both your admission, and that you're familiar with the song. :-)

I've got it on their collection of singles.

It will probably be no shock that I know and adore that song. Mmmm, FLA.
