digitaldisciplineNormally, it is the height of folly to read the comments on any kind of news article, especially one that hits on anything more resonant than whether Jeopardy should be on at 7:00 or 7:30 (I'm a 7:30 guy; you warm up with Wheel of Fortune, people, not cool down with it!), but, because I was all het up to send a bitch-o-gram to NPR this morning, I wanted to see if I'd merely be repeating others.
It turns out that, shock of shocks (note: sarcasm present), NPR listeners can actually frame and hold an argument, even when it's about Glenn fucking Beck (who, in my none too humble opinion, didn't warrant Morning Edition's coverage, which is why I'll be commenting to their ombudsman; the last time I did this, it was because some politician's choice of invisible sky wizard ought not to be considered news, unless it's in the context of their being declared mentally unfit for office).
