So, a mile or so into the run was a deep mud pit. I took the... wrong path through it. It took me a good three or four minutes to walk/crawl/swim/whatever through that

It was actually fun, if kind of disconcerting. I turned to the guy just ahead of me and shouted "I HAVEN'T BEEN IN THE SHIT THIS DEEP SINCE 'NAM!" but I don't think it was appreciated.
I'm hoping that the next official batch of photos they upload includes a couple that were taken before I threw myself in the pond that was about a quarter mile further along the track.
