All three are in neighborhoods that are "border" neighborhoods. You know the type - not really bad, not really great...bordering on bad areas. The first one (the spanish style) is in a section of town that is bordering TWO neighborhoods that have recently skyrocketed in value. It's only a matter of time before that one catches up. I know some folks who bought a house in that neighborhood for that very reason.

The first house is already sold. I had my mom call about it the day I saw it. critus is right, they are all in neighborhoods that are experiencing 'gentrification'. In fact, much of St. Pete is going through that as the retirees die out and are replaced by younger, more cash-positive peeps. Houses in the Old NE that I could have bought out of college for 50K now sell for 250K.
