Once again, the weird vagaries of fate are putting us in first class for the shortest flight I take in the US [Cleveland => Buffalo]. Last time, it was because of a clusterfuck in O'Hare and an inability for car rental places in Cleveland to give me a car, this time, it's last-second reservations.

i'd be more comfortable using it sometime when i didn't have to work with immediate, immovable deadlines. for vacations, sure, cool. for a funeral. . . i'll take the certainty of a seat assignment.
