So, the car insurance assrape of 2003, redux, has been finished. I renewed my NY state policy, since it was the lowest-cost option by a stupidly wide margin [35% less than a Louisiana policy with the same people, and a full 50% less than a LA policy by the next closest option - this latter one would effectively cost twice as much as I currently shell out].

actually, driving into atlanta yesterday, there's one strech of I-20 that tops a hill, the trees back away from the road, and you see the whole skyline. . . and there's a bridge, just begging for SURRENDER DOROTHY to be writ upon it, but not quite as. . . striking. . . as the temple in DC.
